Formed in 1985, the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale is a 90-member ensemble of volunteer singers from the greater Pittsburgh area. Under the guidance of Music Director Susan Medley, the group presents a three-program season of varied music each year, including a holiday program in December, a major classical work with soloists and professional orchestra in March, and a pops program with prominent local artists in May. In addition to its regular concerts, the Chorale has made special appearances throughout southwestern Pennsylvania and beyond, including engagements at the Washington, , National Cathedral, a 10-concert holiday tour with the River City Brass Band, a 10-day, six concert tour of Wales and England and a performance of Amy Beach’s critically acclaimed Canticle of the Sun at Chautauqua Institution.
