In 1980, Orville and Carole Bealer purchased a business, the former Choteau Monuments, that would create products that would transcend much farther through time than any business could. Neither had much business experience, but that didn't matter. Orville trained on-the-job and used his skills as an artist to create unique memorials. After his death in 1995, Carole took over the business and considered selling it; however, her son Ron stepped in as general manager. Orville's artwork and tradition of creating "Special Memorials for Special People" goes on today. From simple names and dates to a wide variety of customized designs, Glacier Monuments offers just about anything a customer can think of. Catalogs are readily available, but if a customer has original artwork and photos, they can be scanned in and incorporated into designs.
