Elmer’s Aquarium was founded by Elmer and Catharine Knabe in 1969. Their son, Gary, has been with the company since its inception and is the President. Daughter, Karen, joined the company in 1977 and is the company’s vice-president.
Elmer’s Aquarium has been in the same location in Monroeville, PA since 1969. Customers drive in from out-of-state to find exotic tropical fish from all over the globe in Elmer’s fish room.
