The purpose of FLBC is to bring glory to God, primarily by fulfilling our divine mandate as set forth in the Great Commission:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Matthew 28:19, 20
We also seek strive to glorify the Lord:
by fufilling the Great Commission by reaching up to Him in worship by reaching out to our neighbors outside the church, and by reaching in to our brothers and sisters within the church Our purpose is stated in more than just our purpose statement.
