Opened in September of 1987, this protected harbor has 453 open slips and 26 covered slips, 4-100' Handicap Accessible slips, and is conveniently located on the south side of Lake Pontchartrain just East of the Industrial Canal, adjacent to Lakefront Airport.
South Shore Harbor offers slips for lease. Transient slips are available. Reservations are not mandatory, but are preferred, especially for vessels over 40 feet. Accommodations can be made for vessels up to 150 feet in length. Electrical hook-up accommodations are Hubbell Twist.
