In 1885 the Tabor Grand Hotel opened as an elite and prestigious hotel, many famous guests have visited or stayed including "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and Doc Holiday. In 1993 the then, vacant hotel, was renovated to become 37 affordable apartments for the working town of Leadville. Overland Property Group has acquired this property and is in the process of an extensive multimillion dollar renovation of the interior and exterior that will continue to preserve this prominent piece of Colorado history.
