Trade Winds Aviation is a FAA-certified flight school (Part 61 and Part 141). We are staffed with experienced instructors who guarantee effective training. We use newer and well-maintained equipment for training and rental. Safety is our number one priority and the maintenance of our rental fleet is held to the highest standards in the industry. Many of our late-model aircraft are equipped with modern avionics: GPS navigation, Multi-Function Displays and autopilot systems
As a Cessna Sales Team Authorized Representative (CSTAR) and Cessna Pilot and Service Center, Trade Winds Aviation is endorsed by aviation’s most reputable aircraft company in the world. We offer consultation services for pilots who are interested in buying a new or used aircraft, or exploring the benefits of leasing an aircraft back to our flying school. We also offer the SharePlus program, a fractional aircraft shares program which offers exclusive access to a fleet of factory new aircraft for a fraction of the cost of sole ownership
Once a student completes his or her Private Pilot training, Trade Winds Aviation continues to offer on-going education and aviation oriented activities. Our active team of flight instructors and local aviation specialists teach seminars on a variety of topics such as Mountain Flying, Landing Clinics, and Radio Communication Seminars. We also sponsor monthly group fly-outs to a variety of destinations. These trips are not only a lot of fun, but they also give new pilots useful flying experience to build on.
