Dr. Nguyen is a therapeutic optometrist, and earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University Of Houston College Of Optometry where she graduated Cum Laude. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society throughout all four years of optometry school, and during her second year was recognized as the Class of 2013 Outstanding Student. During her time at the college, Dr. Nguyen received clinical letters of excellence for outstanding performance in Pediatrics, Ocular diagnostics/Medical Eye Service, and Family Practice clinics.
While completing clinical rotations at Eye Center of Texas and Berkeley Eye Center, Dr. Nguyen provided primary care and routine eye exams. In addition, she also received training for managing various ocular pathologies such as dry eye, glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as provide post-operative care for cataract and LASIK patients.
