Encounter God
We believe that praise and worship unto the Lord is the greatest privilege God has given to every person and seek to foster Spirit-filled worship through seeking His presence, exalting God through the holy sacraments, and encouraging freedom in our expressions of worship. (Ephesians 5:19; Psalm 150; John 4:23-24; Romans 12:1-2)
We believe that our church must be centered in Christ and God’s word. (Colossians 1:15-18; John 17:17)
We believe God desires his people to pray and that he hears and answers prayer; therefore, we are committed to earnest prayer in the Church, in the family, and by the individual believer. (Psalm 95:6; Matthew 6:9-15, 7:7-8; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Ephesians 6:18)
Embrace Community
We strive to build a growing Christian community through a joyful environment, acceptance, encouragement, love and healthy relationships. We value the unity of the body among all believers, both within our church and the churches in our local community. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Romans 15:5-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Hebrews 10:24-25)
Engage Culture
We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the Church through a vital focus on evangelism. In order to fulfill the Great Commission, we are committed to being culturally relevant, to community outreach, to making all people feel welcome, and to the advancement of missions both locally and throughout the world. (Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 14:23; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23)
Experience Service
We are committed to identify the believer’s calling and the development of their spiritual gifts in order to equip every believer for service and ministry to meet the needs of our community and church. (John 13:35; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-16)
We are committed to building strong families in order to provide a solid foundation for the Gospel to be passed on to the next generation. This includes the need to continually focus on ministries for people of all ages. (Ephesians 5:31-6:4; Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
We are committed to developing devoted, mature Christians through discipleship and Christian education based on biblical instruction, correct doctrinal teaching, accountability, and leadership development. (Hebrews 6:1; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Ezra 7:10)
We are committed to the development of godly leaders and believe in submission to the spiritual leadership God has appointed over us in the body of Christ.
We are committed to the development of men and women who are deeply committed to God and practice servant leadership. (Hebrews 13:17; Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Peter 5:2-3; Matthew 23:11-12)
We uphold that all believers, both individually and corporately, should exercise good stewardship through selfless contribution of their time, talents, and treasures. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Malachi 3:10; 1 Peter 4:10)
We are committed to creativity, innovation, and flexibility in order to achieve effectiveness in ministry. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23; 2 Timothy 2:15)
We strive for excellence and professionalism in all the works of our ministry and believe that it honors God and inspires people. (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Corinthians 3:13)
