As the strategic nonprofit partner of Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS), AchieveMpls rallies community support to inspire and equip Minneapolis students for careers, college and life. We serve over 9,000 students each year in our Career & College Centers, located in 11 MPS high schools; train and place 700+ Minneapolis youth in paid, career-oriented internships with 150 Twin Cities employers through STEP-UP Achieve (part of the City of Minneapolis STEP-UP program); connect hundreds of caring volunteers with students as Graduation Coaches and career exploration volunteers; raise support for MPS strategic priorities; and manage MPS school and department funds. We have a team of 40, including 14 staff that work in MPS high schools. AchieveMpls was founded in 2002 through the merger of Youth Trust and the Minneapolis Public Schools Foundation and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Learn more at
