Alpha Omicron Pi is a community of over 166,000 members through 118 years of excellence. We proudly support juvenile arthritis research and education as the platform for our philanthropic efforts, in addition to outreach and community service projects in Morgantown, WV.
Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on January 2, 1897 by Stella George Stern Perry, Jessie Wallace Hughan, Elizabeth Heywood Wyman, and Helen St. Clair Mullen at Barnard College in New York City.
The Sigma Alpha Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi was founded at West Virginia University on August 23, 1986.
