In 1921, our great-grandfather, Jennings W. Hardwick, began selling caskets at Peoples Hardware located in the heart of Loris on Railroad Avenue. Initially, the delivery truck was used to transport caskets to families homes, but quickly evolved to include the church and cemetery. It was from these humble beginnings that Hardwick Funeral Home began a legacy of excellence in funeral service. Now on our fourth generation, brothers, Chris and Rhett Hardwick, are honored to serve the community that they love, grew up in and have chosen to live and raise their own families.
