This morning, I went to the monthly meeting of our CCRC book club.

Beverly and Carrielou are life-long friends who were separated in 1960 when Beverly got married and moved. Recently, Carrielou was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and became unable to visit loved ones or talk on the phone. Beverly and Carrielou could no longer stay in touch - they missed each other and wanted to spend quality time together. Wish of a Lifetime and Brookdale granted their wish and sent Beverly to California to reunite with her friend - letting the two build new memories.
