Did I just see a FRUIT FLY!?! These pesky insects can become quite annoying. Here are a few helpful tips: 1. Be sure to throw away over ripe or decomposing fruits and vegetables that are on your counter. That is a perfect place for female fruit flies to lay their eggs. 2. Wash and dry fruits and vegetables that you bring into your homes and store them in the refrigerator is possible. 3. Be sure to throw out old sponges. 4. Clean out your garbage disposal. 5. Wipe kitchen surfaces clean after eating. Simply killing the adult flies won't get rid of the problem. You must find the breeding grounds and start from there.
