Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. (Proverbs 22:28 KJV)

Today's Thought: WHATEVER deadens your conscience is NOT connected with truth, God, salvation, or "progress."

SINGING CHRISTIANS Blessed be God, "who giveth songs in the night." It was midnight. Paul and Silas, with beaten, bleeding backs, were in prison...and they started singing! While it seemed as if they were in the hands of men they knew they were really in God's hands. Imagine! Prisoners with welts on their backs don't usually make for good singers! A prison isn't usually the best place for a gospel sing-a-long! And, midnight is a very unusual hour for a concert! But these Christians knew that God triumphs over the worst of circumstances...and He did! We live in a world that sin has turned into a prison. We are surrounded by men in bondage of every form of evil. No testimony is more effective that a singing Christian... especially when he can sing with a bruised back at midnight! That news will get around because the prisoners will "hear" and "see" him! Furthermore, there will be an earthquake and somebody will be saved!!! Oh, how important is our testimony in times of trouble! "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." (Acts 16:25)

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. (Proverbs 31:30 KJV)
