Hamilton Christian Academy serves students in grade Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are committed to excellence in education, character, and behavior.

In education, we are dedicated to helping your child gain the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference. Small class sizes and teachers with training, talent, and heart give your child a distinct advantage.

In character, we are devoted to inspiring the values of respect, honor, and patriotism. Our class schedules include opportunities for the students to live out their faith through community service. Weekly chapel services focus on worship and matters of Christian character.

Curriculum Overview

In addition to a strong emphasis in core subjects, Hamilton Christian Academy offers a rotating series of classes in music, art, physical education and electives. Students participate in a wonderful variety of educational and fun field trips as well.

With our smaller class size, students receive personal monitoring of their educational progress and extra support when needed.

The textbooks and materials forming our curricular framework include: ABeka Reading, Phonics, Health, Science, Health & Manners; Sonlight Bible, English Literature and History; Saxon and Teaching Textbooks Math; ACSI and Summit Ministries Bible; various authors and publishers for high school Bible ; Spalding Reading, Writing and Spelling, Apologia Science. At Hamilton Christian Academy, our emphasis is on provide a rich and varied experience that is not always dependent upon a textbook. We endeavor to find or create curriculum that will prepare students for life, for college if they are interested or for careers.

We provide NIV Bibles for the classroom use in grades 4-8, enabling the children and teachers to study the Word together. Daily classroom Bible lessons and prayer as well as weekly chapel services allow us to speak not only about what God has done but also what He is doing in their lives today. Denominational doctrines are not taught, but deferred to parental discussion at the elementary level. Starting in Middle School effort is made to bring to light a wide variety of Biblical Doctrines as well as expose our students to cultures and religions of the World from a Christian Perspective with the Holy Bible alwalys as our guide. Learning to be critical thinkers and problem solvers is a common thread.
