Quality Tank & Construction Co.

Sitting at the base of Mt. Hood in the beautiful Pacific Northwest is a small industrial fabricating company. Quality Tank was established in 1980 By Rodney & Sharon James. Although Rodney retired many years ago his standards are still very prevalent in our daily atmosphere.
Quality Tank has a very tight family of employees. When people come to work here they usually stay. Our field superintendent started working here when he was still in high school, working shutdowns back when you could do that as a teenager. Kit, our lead engineer just celebrated his 30th year anniversary with the company. Stephen Platt is looking at his 30 year next year. We have a large number of 20 year employees too.
Our field services travel with each other, sharing motel rooms riding together, working 12 hour days for weeks on end. You could really get to know someone by the end of a big shutdown. I’ve noticed we even spend time together away from work, camping, riding, and skiing. (Ski Team)
We have even painfully lost one but like a family we pulled together and got through it. (Blake)
All our guys have nicknames. They stick like glue. We had a fella that worked in the shop years ago and I still couldn’t tell you what his real name was.
I know everyone’s birthdays so when we are away from home the birthday boy will still get a cake.
Ultimately you’re always going to take care of the guy working next to you, especially if he’s a good friend. This makes us stronger, tougher and more adaptable.
