Nepa Center for Independent Living

MyCIL — our Center for Independent Living in Scranton, PA — offers independent living services to people with disabilities. Through ACES$ Financial Management Services, we provide Client-first payroll management.

We empower people with disabilities to achieve living independent goals through our five core services:

• Advocacy – We advocate for independent living, rights and benefits, resolution of individual problems and better access to society.

• Skills Training – Our individualized training concentrates on daily living, helping people with disabilities achieve economic and social independence.

• Information and Referral – We are a knowledge base for people with disabilities, providing key resources that range from communication aids and architectural accessibility to housing and civil rights.

• Peer Consultation – Our skilled advisors who have a disability help others with disabilities set and reach their independent living goals.

• Transitional Services – At our state-of-the-art Transitional Skills Center, we help young people with disabilities — ages 14-21 — develop the skills they need to pursue additional education after high school, enter the workforce or achieve independent living.

Through ACES$, we also offer payroll management services. In states throughout the country, we serve as a payroll provider for Clients on certain Medicaid Home and Community Based Services waivers.
