Hot Diggity Doggie Camp

At Hot Diggity Doggie Camp, we are committed to providing a safe and fun social environment for your dog while you are at work or away from home. To enroll, please take the time to fill out an information form, located below, and bring it to us along with proof of vaccinations. Then, schedule a time for your pet to visit. There is no charge for the first visit.

Our camp is a place for young dogs to socialize and have fun. Some older dogs really enjoy it too, but it is not for everybody. If your dog doesn't like being around other dogs, or is elderly, he/she may be better off at home with a pet sitter, or at the vet that they are used to going to. Remember, you want to do what is best for your pet.

At the camp, dogs play together, play with us, and sometimes just mill around. There are separate play areas for small/large dogs, or for dogs with different play styles. Dogs sleep in crates at night in the master bedroom or the playroom. They may be crated for a nap in the middle of the day. We will provide food, or you may bring your own. If you bring your own food, please put it in a baggie with your dog's name on it and directions on how much food and how often to feed them.

Hot Diggity Doggie Camp is a place your dog can run around with other dogs, chase balls, jump in the baby pools, and hang out in the playroom and watch a little tv. There is a small dog play area in the back. Dogs are crated at night, and sometimes for noontime naps. The owner lives on the premises. Please have your dog on a leash coming and going.

STERILIZING: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.

SHOTS: All dogs must be in good health and up to date on all shots. They must have had a bordatella (kennel cough) shot in the past six months. A copy of the shot record must be included. Your dog must also be on a flea/tick preventative.

BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive. They must not show any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dog. Please remember that your dog will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all dogs is our main concern.

VISIT: All dogs must have one or two scheduled visits to see if they are happy at doggie camp. You will want to check it out too!
FEES: Day Care $20 / $15 half day

Boarding $25 per night for a 24 hr period. (For example, a weekend Fri would be $50. If you picked up Sun night it would be $70.

Two dogs $40 per night, $35 for 6 nights or more. Call about long term boarding.

Bathing before pick up is available upon request for an additional $15.

DAYS AND HOURS FOR DAY CARE: Monday - Friday from 7:00 to 6:00 Weekends by appointment only.

PICK UP TIME FOR BOARDING: Flexible. I know you want to sleep with your dog!

VET CARE: If your dog requires a vet, he/she will be taken to the vet you use if possible. If it is near closing time, or an emergency, we will take your dog to the closest vet to be treated. You are responsible for the expenses.

8-12 - Playtime

12-2 - Naptime

2-5 - Playtime

5-7 - Dinner

7-9 - Playtime

In order for you dog to stay at Hot Diggity Doggie Camp, there is some information that we would like to have about your pet. We would like you to take the time to give us a full personality profile of your pet so that we can provide them with the best care possible while they are here. Be as detailed as you would like about their favorite games and even favorite places to be petted. This form can be downloaded from the website, or you can fill them out when your dog comes to visit.

Reservations are required. Please call as soon as possible to book your time. Have a back-up plan in case we are already at full capacity.

If you have a puppy, you may also be interested in puppy classes. Puppy Kindergarten is taught through PARA for puppies age 2 1/2 months - 4 1/2 months.
