Dutch Cove Baptist Church

We believe that God has set apart the local church in a special way to share the transforming Gospel of Jesus and make disciples for His glory. We are a faith family of sinners once in bondage and now redeemed, once dead but now alive in Jesus Christ. We are located in Dutch Cove, Canton, North Carolina. As followers of Jesus, God says we need a strong gospel-centered community of believers whom we can depend on to pray for us, to encourage us when life is tough, and to help us grow in the likeness of Christ as we join the mission of Jesus together. It is our earnest prayer that, by God’s grace, Dutch Cove is this kind of gospel-centered community, and we welcome you to be a part of what God is doing here.

Worship Times:
> Sunday Morning @ 11 am ...We worship with Gospel-centered singing, prayer, and preaching from the Bible that is engaging, practical, and applicable to your situation.
> Kids Worship @ 11 am ...This isn't baby-sitting. It's way better. We believe that hearing the gospel in a way that kids can understand and apply is much more important than sitting quietly through a grown up service that's addressing grown up issues. We believe that kids should love going to church. We believe kids are made in the image of God and can respond to the gospel. So we provide a worship service geared specifically to kids Kindergarten through 5th grade. Your kids will love it!

> Sunday Evening Equipping @ 6 pm ...Condensed, life-application teaching to help you discover the abundant life God has prepared for those who follow Him by faith


Life Groups:
Life happens in circles, not rows. That's why we work hard to develop and offer practical, gospel-centered small groups for all ages and life-stages.
> Most of our groups meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am. Child care is provided.
> Weekday groups day and time vary by group.

Prayer Powerhouse (Pastor Led Prayer):
> Wednesday Evening 6:30 pm ...If you could ask anything to the Creator of everything, would you? If you could receive wisdom from the One who knows everything, would you? If God was less of a far-away deity and more of a loving Father, would you converse with Him as a son or daughter? Through Jesus, you can. On Wednesdays, together, we do. Someone once said, "Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power." With as much is going on in our world today, we need the power of God in a special way. Come join us in prayer.
