Since its first season in 1973-74, the Warren Symphony Society, Inc. has presented hundreds of concerts in the southeastern Michigan region. During recent years, the orchestra has earned the "Outstanding Community Orchestra" award seven different times at the annual Detroit Music Awards.
Over the years, many Michigan & International soloists have appeared with the orchestra, such as Ani and Ida Kavafian, dance companies such as Eisenhower Dance Ensemble and the Kyiv Ballet, and popular attractions such as Bach, Corky Siegel, and Robert Goulet.
The Motor City Symphony Orchestra's educational programs feature an annual Youth Concert for thousands of youngsters, as well as numerous ensembles that perform in schools. Our ClassicalPalooza program features a 7-member ensemble that performs an assembly concert in a school.
The regular concert season runs September through April.
