The Resolution Services Center, a 501(c)3 organization, was developed in 1990 as part of the Community Dispute Resolution Act. In order to resolve conflict, a variety of methods are utilized including mediation, transformative conferencing, and facilitation. Other methods may be utilized depending upon the case facts. Mediators/facilitators are neutral and do not take sides nor give advice. They help organize and manage a process in which the parties discuss their perspectives, generate options, and come to their own resolution.
