The Swift Creek community and Swift Creek Fire Dept is mourning the loss of a local man who served the community during emergencies for many years. Barry Doyle, owner of Barry's Cafe in the Triangle, passed away Friday morning.

We would like to extend a warm thank you for all the kind words, encouragement, and love we have received following the passing of our beloved Barry. The many stories you’ve shared about Barry have warmed our heart in the same way he has touched yours over the years. Barry put his heart and soul into serving this community and the many emergency response teams. We look forward to keeping his memory alive by continuing to serve you all in the coming years. A celebration of Barry’s life will take place on Wednesday, April 19 at 4:00 pm at Montague Lake, 10305 Penny Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606.
