ABOUT US:

An oasis is a place of refreshing in the midst of a desert. In essence, that is our vision. Our desire is to be a source of life to you in spirit, soul and body. We are a non-denominational church, desiring to minister the love of God to people in a relevant way. We believe everyone is born with a purpose and a need to be a part of God’s family. That is why we strive to provide an environment that will bless you and your family.
Our heart is to accept people where they are and to assist them in growing their faith to the next level. We believe that in seeking God, He will be found and the more of Him you find, the more of Him you want.
Oasis Community Church was founded September 9, 2001 by Billy and Dawn Claudio. OCC met in public schools for two and a half years and began to reach out to the Scottsdale area. In April 2004, Oasis merged with the former Friendship Community Church, which had been in existence for more than 15 years. We are steadily growing and developing new ministries in order to facilitate that growth.

ABOUT OUR PASTOR:

Billy and Dawn Claudio have been involved in active ministry for more than 25 years. Billy graduated from the New Life Bible College in 1983 and in the same year co-founded the New Life Drama Company. This ministry gave Billy and Dawn, who joined in 1986, a great opportunity to develop in ministry and leadership. From 1990 to 1996 they traveled full-time across the United States ministering through drama, music and teaching the Word of God. In May of 1996, they moved to Greenville, SC to serve as associate pastors. They worked in various aspects of that local church for four and a half years, at which time they sensed the Lord drawing them in a new direction … to start a church in Scottsdale, Arizona.
