Dr. Chen first attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. After completing his undergraduate studies, he chose to pursue a career in dentistry and was accepted at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
