The Texas Stroke Institute (TSI) of Medical City Healthcare is the first "Brain Attack Network of Care" in the with two certified comprehensive stroke centers and seven certified primary stroke centers - all designated by the state of Texas.
TSI is a team of Stroke and Interventional Neurologists and Neurocritical care physicians that treat up to hours with IV r-tPA and up to 12 hours from LKN utilizing catheter based treatments. We are available 24/7, 365 days of the year and are able to extend our support and patient care to over 120 community hospitals.
Through collaborative efforts, we remain focused on one goal: reducing the risk and burden of stroke through prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We believe in working with our community partners to ensure that every patient is offered optimal stroke care. During a stroke, million brain cells die every minute.
