What does NUCCA feel like?

We will do X-rays and scans before your adjustment to identify the subluxations exactly. The analysis is very precise and specific, therefore, the adjustment itself does not require much force. The pressure is very gentle, equivalent to the weight of a mere dime.

As part of the initial process, we will take X-rays and perform nervous system scans after the adjustment as well. These X-rays will reveal the change in your spinal alignment and the scans measure the improvement in the function of your body. Subsequent X-rays will be required if you have had any major trauma or if we find you are not responding to treatment as expected.

A Full and Healthy Life with Chiropractic Care

NUCCA adjustments are more stable so you’ll be coming in about 1/3 as often as with traditional chiropractic care. After your spine is stabilized the benefit of adjustments lasts longer. Ideally you should be able to hold an adjustment for 3 to 6 months. This means it is possible that you only visit for check-ups or adjustments 4 times a year!
