Aspen Springs Assisted Living is located on 20 acres of ranch/wooded land in Spirit Lake, Idaho and was purchased by Joe & Becky Skala in 2007. Joe's mother had Alzheimer's. They were hard pressed to find the "right place" for her where her quality of life was the main priority, so they purchased Aspen Springs. In 2008, Becky's daughter, Melinda, returned to North Idaho and became administrator making Aspen Springs a fully family owned & operated business. Our staff is dedicated to serving others. Our facility is filled with well-trained and big-hearted individuals who truly want to help those who are unable to do so for themselves. Once on board, their skills are fine-tuned to our specified training program and implemented on a daily basis. Our nurse is on call 24/7. Aspen Springs is much more than just a facility, it is our residents' home.
