Geppetto Catering is a full-service corporate caterer located in Riverdale, MD founded on October 1, 1989. We serve the Washington, Metropolitan area and we were rated Washington’s choice for corporate catering by the Washington Business Journal! We pride ourselves on reliability, innovation, and quality. We do everything possible to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. All of our orders are delivered in our temperature-controlled trucks to ensure hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold. Our menu prices include all utensils and paper products. Our friendly drivers deliver and set-up your orders.
Most importantly, we are very active in helping our community. We provide ongoing support to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Leadership Greater Washington, Goodwill of Greater Washington, Levine School of Music, Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, and Central Kitchen.
As well as our community, we are actively trying to help our environment. Our latest ambition is becoming a green certified company. Currently our internal operations are 100% green. We recycle all of our cans, bottles, plastics, paper, and cardboard. The remainder of our trash which includes, eating utensils, serving platters and leftover food is turned into compost, or material that is taken from decomposed organic items and used for improving soil quality, wetland restoration, and erosion control. We are looking into solar power and the purchase of wind energy as other environmentally-friendly options down the road.
