Providing a comprehensive tuition-free, scholarship-based education and career skills training program for women living in Baltimore City who wish to pursue sustainable careers as certified nursing/geriatric nursing assistants (CNA/GNA) and certified/nationally certified pharmacy technicians (PT/CPhT). The 15-week program includes a professional externship with a prospective employer and offers an array of wrap-around services and enrichment opportunities designed to support each woman's success. The program approach is values-based; instruction is individualized; mentoring and job coaching support entry into new careers; and, graduates become Caroline Center "members for life" - encouraged and able to use the center's resources throughout their entire careers and lives.
