Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church was started in Jefferson City, MO over 166 ago, by a group of slaves and free people of African descent. Over the years we have been a beacon or hope and light in the community. Known as the "Church at the foot" we are just down the street from Lincoln University. We welcome college students and have historically had a relationship with Lincoln University. We understand the Gospel to be one of liberation. Social Justice is central tenet of our ministry. We are the oldest Black entity in Jefferson City. "Come and grow with us."
