Solar Trek, Inc. has been installing high-quality renewable energy systems since 1981. Starting as a small manufacturer of Solar Thermo-Siphon Water Heaters, Solar Trek has evolved as a leader in the renewable energy fields with Solar Pool Heating, Solar Domestic Hot Water and Solar Electric.

Vince Biel, the owner of Solar Trek, has been in the renewable energy field for over 28 years. Supported by wife and co-owner Pat, Solar Trek has stood the test of time, as many companies have come and gone. Renewable energy to the Biel’s is a way of life and not a passing fad. Vince has acted as a consultant and designer for several manufacturers because of his knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of solar energy and solar energy systems. Notable installations include the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, the Florida Governor’s mansion in 2007, and most recent, representing FlaSEIA, the installation of Tallahassee’s first commercial solar electric system. Pat is also active in giving back to the community as a volunteer and sponsors many community projects.

We carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance and all of or employees are covered by workers comp. We NEVER use sub-contractors. All work is performed by trained Solar Trek staff. All of our employees have had background checks and drug screening.

We use only the best materials. We never use factory seconds or blemished components. Solar Trek is aligned with the top suppliers of renewable systems in the world such as: Kyocera, UniRac, Bosch, Enphase, Solene, and we are the exclusive dealer for Heliocol's solar pool panels in Marion, Alachua, Citrus and Sumter counties.
