Distant Horizons organizes cultural tours to Africa, Asia and the Middle East and has been doing so since 1985. Each of our trips is accompanied by a guest scholar who is responsible for providing a series of lectures and a strong educational component to the trip. The focus of each trip is very much allowing each traveler the chance, not just to experience, but to breathe the culture and traditions of the country they are journeying through. A small group size, never more than twenty travelers, the best hotels, superb local guides and an incredible first-hand knowledge of all our trips, allow us to offer comfortable and intimate tours to some of the world's most magnificent countries.
