The Good Samaritan Home was founded by Charles A. Wing in 1942. The Home began as a retirement home for low-income seniors, but quickly transformed into a facility that gave low-income adults a second chance. The Good Samaritan Home is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We provide a secure, individual private room with ½ bath, all utilities included, three meals per day, every day, laundry, housekeeping and most basic needs. Since 1942, we have endeavored to deliver a sense of hope, safety, stability, security, support and a place to call home for our residents.
