The Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center is an independent, 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation, licensed and regulated by New York Stat and governed by a community of board of directors. It serves people from the 14-county region around Rochester, NY. The Center provides education, treatment, research, advocacy and supportive programs to people affected by bleeding disorders and iron overload. It is active with the National Hemophilia Foundation, the New York State Bleeding Disorders Coalition, the Hemophilia Alliance, ATHN and the World Federation of Hemophilia. Center Staff and Medical Staff members are active in and hold or have held leadership positions in organizations across the bleeding disorders community regionally, nationally and internationally.
