Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital is the second-largest pediatric facility in Louisiana. We are a 95-bed "hospital within a hospital" located inside Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, designated as a children's hospital in 2004. With nearly 60 pediatric specialists on staff in 20 different subspecialties, we serve more than 110,000 patients each year from all parishes in Louisiana and across the Southeast Region.
Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital is home to one of only seven St. Jude affiliate clinics in the nation. We are the only 24/7 pediatric emergency room in the Baton Rouge region and the largest local Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. We have specialty clinics across the state in Lafayette, Gonzales and Hammond and operate a 24/7 critical care pediatric Transport Team.
We are proud to serve as one of the 170 Children's Miracle Network (CMN Hospitals) Hospitals in North America. Funds raised through CMN Hospitals are used to purchase the most advanced, state-of-the-art medical equipment, expand lifesaving pediatric services, and to provide advanced training for clinical staff.
