The members of St. John's Church are dedicated to serving our community and the world through a wonderful outreach program. Every year, we work on many events and projects such as the following:

Free Community Dinner: St. John's serves a free dinner for the community four times per year with help from many generous donations.

Christmas Teen Gift "Giving Tree" Program: This program provides generous gift cards during the Christmas season to teenagers in need in Marcellus High School.

Nets for Life: The children in the Christian Education Program raised funds to purchase mosquito nets for people living in areas with high levels of mosquito-borne malaria such as Guyana.

Habitat for Humanity: The people of St. John's partnered with the Marcellus Faith Community to complete an interfaith home build.

Outreach to School Children in El Salvador: School supplies were gathered for the Episcopal bishop and priests to provide to children in need living in El Salvador.

Pill Bottles for Medical Missions: Hundreds of empty pill bottles were collected for use in medical missions in El Salvador.

Blanket Appeal: St. John's collects funds every year to send to Church World Service to provide blankets to refugees and other people in need.

Migrant Workers: St. John's collects used children's clothing in good condition to donate to the children of migrant workers.

Flood and Hurricane Relief: We have collected many donations to send to Episcopal Relief and Development to help with floods/hurricanes/cyclones ranging from Katrina to the cyclone in Myanmar.
