Engineering Specialists, Inc. has the experience and expertise to provide complete custom control systems, information systems, automation, training and support and integrated systems for a wide variety of applications and industries. The formal education of our staff ranges from technical school graduates to master’s degrees. We have a number of professional engineers on our staff. In addition, many years of plant floor experience allow us to expertly address control system, networked information system and machine design concerns.

We can take responsibility for a total project from initial concept, through hardware and software design, to installation and documentation. Where project requirements are less inclusive, we will provide assistance for only those portions of a project that are required. With our well-rounded staff, we have the ability to provide complete “turn-key” systems or any part thereof.

Our controls engineering staff is well trained and experienced in advanced programming techniques for wide variety of programmable controller systems and computers. Software is written in a well-structured and easy-to-follow format, allowing the end user more flexibility in analyzing, maintaining or modifying the control of the machines, systems or processes. We regularly provide graphical operator interfaces, supervisory control, data acquisition, and production and process control. Alternatively we can interface to new or existing systems that provide this functionality.

Our mechanical engineering staff is well trained and experienced in the area of machine design and project management as well as “hands on” design skills with a broad knowledge of assembly, test, and material handling equipment.

Our computer-drafting group produces the drawings for a project including machine assembly and detail drawings, control schematics, panel layouts and wiring diagrams. We can import and export drawings to interface with a variety of CAD and 3D modeling systems.

We also provide panel fabrication, including assembly, wiring and testing, in our large, fully equipped shop. All equipment is built precisely to our customer’s specifications. Engineering Specialists, Inc. is a registered UL 508 panel builder and all construction meets or exceeds applicable national and local standards. This includes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls on new or retrofitted equipment.
