About Cynthia LaFave

Cynthia has always been an advocate for those who have found their lives turned upside down because of injuries due to some other person or entity's negligence. She is passionate about her career and takes to heart the needs of her clients. She is an active and prominent local attorney. Admitted in New York in 1982, Cynthia has had continuous success as a trial attorney. Cynthia has received many verdicts and settlements in excess of one million dollars for her clients. Cynthia has also recieved numerous awards in the legal field ranging from the Citation of Exellence from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America to the Top Attorneys in the Hudson Valley (as published in Hudson Valley Magazines Super Lawyer Section) 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Cynthia has also made appearances on local, state, and national media outlets, including an appearance on Eye to Eye with Connie Chung.

Throughout the years, Cynthia has been very active in the legal community, serving as Past Vice President for the Third Judicial Department, NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers, Past President of the Capital Region Affiliate of the NYS Trial Lawyer's Association and Past President of the Albany County Bar Association.

About Paul Wein

Paul H. Wein received his from Albany Law School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany. He was admitted to practice in February of 1976 and is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American, New York State and Capital District Trial Lawyer’s Associations.

Paul has tried cases in the Supreme Court of Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Warren, Washington, Columbia, Greene and Delaware Counties to name a few. He has tried numerous cases in the Court of Claims against the State of New York as well as in the United States District Court, Northern District of New York.

In addition to Supreme Court, District Court and Court of Claims trial experience, Paul has litigated numerous administrative matters before various State and Federal agencies. He has also argued dozens of cases at the Appellate level. He is the former Town of Guilderland Planning and Zoning Board Counsel and has served as counsel to the Albany County Legislative Minority.

Paul has served as a member of the Board of Governors of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital since 1973. He is currently a member of the St. Jude Board of Directors.



About Jason Frament

Mr. Frament practices primarily in the field of civil litigation, including personal injury, products liability, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, premises liability and commercial litigation. He also focuses on real estate and criminal defense. Mr. Frament was elected and currently serves as Village Justice for the Village of Scotia.

Jason is admitted to practice law in New York State as well as the United States District Court, Northern District of New York. He is a member of the Albany and Schenectady County Bar Associations as well as the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Frament is an active member in the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association and the New York State Magistrate’s Association.

Jason earned his from Albany Law School of Union University in 2000 where he was a Dean’s List student. He graduated from the State University Of New York Institute of Technology in 1996.

Jason volunteers his time to assist the Schenectady and Albany County Bar Association’s mock trial tournaments. He lives in Scotia with his wife, Beverly and son, Joshua.
