The Alhambra Library was established in 1906, to support the learning and reading needs of the community. As the City of Alhambra has grown, so has the Library and the services it provides. As of September 27th, 2008 the new Alhambra Civic Center Library is located at 101 S. First St. Alhambra, CA 91801
The Library currently has a collection of approximately 150,000 volumes, which include all types of materials, including books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and EBooks. We also have reference services, a teen room, a children's room, public computers and Wi-Fi, Homework HELP, annual Summer Reading Programs for all ages, and many areas for studying, reading, and learning.
