The largest weekend rally in the country, attracting nearly a half million people, the Lone Star Rally is like no other. Fans of all ages will enjoy non-stop free music all weekend long and, shopping our hundreds of vendors offering everything MOTORCYCLE!
VIP packages are available with exclusive access to 3 balconies overlooking the epi-center of action on the Strand. Platinum passes at $99 include a commemorative t-shirt as well as 3 free drink tickets and more. Gold at $75 for weekend long access and Single Day passes at $50 are also available. VIP's will enjoy complimentary munchies from 4-7 pm Thurs, Fri & Sat at The Roof Garden and The Trumpet Room locations and, Bagels with an all-out bloody mary's fixings bar on Fri and Sat mornings from 11am-2pm at The Roof Garden, 2214 Strand.
We're kicking off 2018 with all-new Trike and Slingshot Shows at Pier 21 and headliner Vince Neil performing on the Progressive Stage at Beach Central. Meanwhile downtown, Hairball will headline it's rock-tastic tribute show on the Budweiser Stage at Saengerfest Park.
Also beginning on Thursday is the In Motion Invitational, presented by CycleSource Magazine, at Hendley Park, 2100 where 10 of the nation's top builders will vie for a $10,000 cash purse.
Friday's just as full with tons to see and do and hear all day a Bike Games Rodeo at Beach Central, a Truck & Jeep Show at Pier 21 and Progressive Stage headliner Bret Michaels performing at 9 pm. Hairball will take the downtown stage for a second show Friday night.
Saturday continues the Perewitz Paint Show and Ride In Custom Bike Show, both at Beach Central; a Drive In Pre '72 Car Show at Pier 21; the Outlaw Dave Rand Ride; fantastic shopping; and, more free concerts day and night.
As for Sunday, don't plan to leave too we've added in a lot more fun for this last day of the rally including a 3 pm concert by The Count's 77 featuring none other than Danny "Count" Koker from the hit TV show Counting Cars!
Riding around the Galveston area is awesome too because there are fun restaurants and clubs to hang out, beaches to sunbathe on and cool people to party with and kick tires. Cruising down the Strand through tens of thousands of people is a super charge for any rider. It's like a biker style Mardi Gras.
Galveston is an attractive tourist city with so much history. Because it is also a beach city you will find that many of the bars and places have outdoor areas where you can view the Lone Star Rally's action. As far as lodging there are tons of choices and you can either stay at one of the hotels or camp out.
