The VA has just starting using predictive analytics to identify veterans who are at risk of committing suicide, and claims it’s already having an impact.

Yesterday marked the anniversary of the death of Arizona Cardinal and Army Ranger Pat Tillman. Eight months after the 9/11 attack, Pat enlisted. This drew speculation from many that his enlistment was simply a publicity stunt. However Pat and his brother, a Major League Baseball player, put those assumptions to rest when they earned their Ranger tabs and deployed soon after to Afghanistan. R.I.P. Pat.
