Dr. Alexander Nguyen practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Nguyen can perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures. Dr. Nguyen is licensed to provide all levels of anesthesia in an outpatient surgery setting, as well as a multitude of in-patient hospital procedures. Dr. Nguyen shares a personal interest in wisdom teeth, bone grafting, dental implants, head and neck tumors/cysts with reconstruction, facial traumatic injuries, pediatric and adult general anesthesia.
He did obtained his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, and did his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, IL.
