MPC Cashway Lumber is a full-service, locally owned lumber yard & building supply store. We have been serving the Lansing Area for over 50 years. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality service. Our customers range from small do-it-yourself homeowner to commercial contractors. We carry a wide rage of products for every budget. Our Builder's Studio showcases our interior products for kitchens, baths, and mouldings. Our experienced and knowledgeable sales staff will work with you and answer any questions you may have.

History
Established in 1964

In the fall of 1963, Edward McMullin, Raymond Piggott, and William Carter banded together to form MPC Cashway Lumber. Each man brought with him experience and knowledge in a different phase of the retail lumber industry, and an idea. Their idea was to market high quality building materials at a low price, buying direct and in quantities and passing the savings on to the consumer. The grand opening was held in May 1964 and greeted enthusiastically by the public. Through the years as the business grew from the initial three building complex, a reputation throughout Mid-Michigan was established. MPC Cashway accomplished the goal that it was started with. We at MPC still have that same philosophy and we strive every day to meet that goal.
In 1981, brothers Joe and Mark Piggott bought the business. They opened the Williamston location in 1984 and added the Builder's Studio in 2004 to showcase kitchen, bath and other interior products.
In December of 2014, Joe's son, Mac, and Mark's son, Matthew, purchased MPC Cashway Lumber. They are honored and excited to take over the family business they grew up with and continue to serve the Lansing area as MPC has done for over five decades.
