In 1998, Barry Jay Stitch, John S. Mumford & Rachel Mumford founded Barry's Bootcamp in West Hollywood, California. Their mission was to provide the best cardio and strength program in one hour’s time, featuring the most current music and qualified trainers in a fun, party environment. In 2003, they opened a second studio in Sherman Oaks, California as the brand continued to flourish and became a household name. In 2005, Joey Gonzalez joined the founding members and continued the expansion by opening Barry's Bootcamp San Diego. Barry, the Mumfords, and Joey have since developed a rock solid Franchise Campaign to help bring “The Best Workout in the World” to the rest of the world!
