Mayfair Christian School was established in 1911, as the first SDA school in the greater Akron, Ohio area. Since its inception the school has been a beacon of light providing quality Christian education to the communities of Akron, Barberton, and Canton, Ohio. In 1966, MCS moved to its current location in Uniontown, Ohio. Our country setting allows MCS to offer its students a large, safe area for outdoor education. Serving students in K-8th grades, MCS provides a Christian-based educational curriculum. We have a low student-teacher ratio with professionally certified teachers. This low ration affords more individualized attention and instruction to the students. In addition, our multi-grade classroom approach enhances and increases academic performance.
