Established in 1966, Coos Art Museum is the third oldest art museum in Oregon, and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Museum is located in Coos Bay’s former US Post Office and Federal Building. This renovated Art Deco building contains six galleries totaling 5600 square feet. The Museum annually presents from 12-25 changing original and touring exhibitions, including exhibits from its 530 piece permanent collection. Art classes, workshops, lectures, and tours are offered through the Art Education Department.
