GWC Design has designed and observed construction of over 75 Commercial Projects and 475 Single Family and Multi Family Projects – over 1100 total units. We have a long track record in the South Bay Area, acting as architect of record on all types of Projects, resulting in over 2 million sq. ft. of construction area. This work includes development, design and construction of 10 of our own projects. Personal experience and knowledge of the latest construction methods, materials and techniques is an integral part of my firm’s knowledge base, as we have provided construction observation for all of our over 550 projects.

You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality and cost of both the Architectural Design and Construction Services we provide, proven by successfully completed projects and happy recent clients. Extensive environmental training, experience in the construction of our own projects with a family tradition of property ownership and management, places us in the unique position of designer / builder at a time when that skill is lost in a world of over specialization. Many older building projects are not up to date when it comes to Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. In order to solve that problem we also offer the following.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY / CONSERVATION UPGRADING SERVICES:
Depending on the age of your building, there may be significant energy and cost saving opportunities in relatively simple and cost effective upgrades. The first step is to contact us to perform a FREE “ENERGY AUDIT”. Based on past experience, those of you with a high electricity bill may be capable of cutting your bill in half. A green team member will provide a list of energy and cost savings ideas. We will also provide a proposal for “solar electric energy” or “solar domestic hot water” systems on your request. Fantastic government sponsored tax grants and credits are available for both, covering up to 50% of the actual cost of the system. These systems have the potential to eliminate your electric bill completely and reduce substantially your natural gas usage. Waste water recycling systems are also available for those who are rightly concerned about the future impact of water supply availability and conservation. These systems can reduce your water bills by 50 to 65% depending on your landscape watering area.
