Connecticut Outdoor Wood Furnace, based in Woodbury, Connecticut, offers insulated piping to save energy, and a pollution control device to reduce emissions.
ThermoPEX(r )
ThermoPEX insulated piping saves energy, and maximizes efficiency by keeping heat loss of your [outdoor wood furnaces] to a minimum. Greater system efficiency maximizes the delivery of heat from each pound of wood, and reduces wood consumption.
ThermoPEX is flexible, pre-insulated piping that is ideal for use with outdoor wood furnaces. It consists of 2, 1-inch oxygen-barrier central PEX lines, or 2, 1-1/4 inch oxygen barrier PEX lines (supply and return) that are insulated with high-density urethane insulation, and a thick, durable, waterproof, polyethylene outer jacket.
These make your central-boiler outdoor-furnace installation quick, easy, and efficient. They come pre-assembled and ready-to-install in 100, or 800 Lengths with 1" PEX lines, or 300 Length with 1-1/4" PEX lines.
Our lines can be installed even in high-water table areas, are UV-protected, and contain both supply, and return lines.
CS-100
ClearStak is proud to introduce the CS-100 for the reduction of visible emissions from outdoor wood boilers. The CS-100 is a pollution control device (PCD), which provides an economical, environmentally friendly solution to new and existing outdoor wood-burning furnaces (OWBs).
The CS-100 uses a patented, intelligent catalytic approach, and attaches easily to new and existing OWBs. Once installed, the CS-100 virtually eliminates the nuisance of smoke generated by OWBs.
The CS-100 provides significant advantages to owners of OWBs:
Low-Cost Alternative to OWB Replacement
Improved Environmental Quality
Improved Relations with Neighbors
Economical Solution to Federal, State, and/or Local Ordinances about OWB Output
The CS-100 is a proprietary stainless steel device designed specifically for OWBs. It pre-heats the catalyst for optimal performance during the burn cycle start up. It uses a proprietary Intelligent Bio-Fuel Controller (IBC) that manages oxygen flow.
