We conduct clinical trials / drug studies / drug testing / drug trials all one in the same at our medical facility. A highly regulated business and we could not exist in this arena for more than 43 years without adhering to stringent rules, regulations, and supervision by the FDA and various other entities that oversee the business of drug trials. Every effort is made to protect the patient. To quell any fears, before a new treatment is tried with patients, it is carefully studied in the laboratory. This research reveals the medications/methods most likely to succeed and, as much as possible, shows how to use them safely and effectively. No new treatment advances to the clinical testing phase unless there is strong evidence indicating it will be as effective as or more effective than the medications already available. Under the auspices of the FDA every clinical trial in the United States must be approved and monitored by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to make sure the risks are as low as possible and are worth any potential benefits. An IRB is an independent committee of physicians, statisticians, community advocates and others who ensure a clinical trial is ethical and participants’ rights are protected. Many countries around the world have similar review boards and regulations. All of the studies we conduct here can be found at and the website tab for clinical trials-TrialMatch. We concentrate on CNS disorders namely: Alzheimer's disease, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar, Insomnia and Fibromyalgia. We are headed by Dr. Nick Vatakis assisted by Dr. Evgeny Fink. We are located in the Brighton Beach section of southern Brooklyn convenient to the "B" and "Q" trains. We are wheelchair accessible in an elevator-ed serviced building. When you choose to participate in a clinical trial you will receive all health screenings, cognitive and neurologic exams where indicated, EKG, lab work and in certain studies MRI and / or PET scans. The patient will then be given the study drug and be closely monitored. All patients are PAID at each visit for their participation. This arrangement does not interfere with SSI or any other entitlement program. NO insurance is required and participation is STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL.
